The more experience you get in one Level the higher is your ranking. At last you can use the normal soldier who is fighting with an MG-42, Flamethrower and some other nice weapons. The covert-op who uses a silenced sniper rifle and a silenced pistol. The engineer who repairs Tank, Trunks and sets up barriers and mines. There you have the field-op who can provide artillery fire and an air attack. At Level four you can give yourself some adrenalin which lets you run faster. As a medic for example if you heal many people and revive them you get experience on First Aid. If you have reached the maximum of four stars you get dual pistols. For example if you shoot many peaople with the MG you get experience on Light weapons. The more experience you will collect during battles the more health you get or the better you can aim. The best thing about the game is that you have a ranking system. At first Enemy Territory should be an add-on to the allready exsisting Return to Castel Wolfenstein but at the developers heared the office where they were working in should be closed they decided to release it as a stand alone version with only a multiplayer mode.Įven if the first promised singleplayer mode is missing now the game is one of the best games I have ever played of the Second World War scenario. If you look at the surrounding conditions they have made, you will be astonished. This World War two shooter is one of the best games I have ever seen. There are so many things to discover and so many possibilities to get your opponent down. In addition to objective and campaign modes, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory introduces a team-based Last-Man-Standing game mode, where squad-mates cooperate to ensure their team has the last surviving man on the battlefield. The 28 enhanced abilities range from higher ammunition capacity and faster power-bar recharge times, to the ability to see land mines, revive fallen teammates at full health, or use a machine gun instead of a pistol as your secondary weapon. Medics provide health and revive fallen teammates, as Field Ops use their binoculars to mark enemy positions for a Soldier's mortar barrage. The Covert Ops can steal the uniforms of fallen enemies and perform covert reconnaissance behind enemy lines, while Engineers can plant and defuse land mines, as well as construct battlefield structures including bridges, guard towers, and forward-operations bases in the midst of combat to gain advantages for their team. Players join the fray as one of five distinct character classes each with unique combat abilities. The only way to complete the objectives that lead to victory is by cooperation, with each player covering his teammates and using his class's special abilities in concert with the others'.įeaturing multiplayer support for up to 32 players, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is the ultimate test of communication and teamwork on the battlefield. It's a team game you will win or fall along with your comrades.
